Westman Dressage in cooperation with Cadora is pleased to announce “Build a Better Dressage Horse with Stephen Clarke” coming to you October 19th – 21st, 2018, at the Keystone Center, in Brandon, MB.
Stephen Clarke is a world-renowned Dressage judge, former competitor, and trainer. With 5 National Championship titles to his name, Stephen Clarke is now travelling worldwide, concentrating on judging and training. As an FEI 5* Dressage Judge, he is equipped to teach and advise all levels of the sport. Stephen is a master at choosing suitable exercises for each horse and rider combination with his priority being relaxation, and the physical and mental well-being of the horse. His calm, consistent approach makes it easy for riders and auditors to discuss issues and ask questions.
Included in the weekend is an evening with Stephen, a banquet, and of course two full days of auditing rides! Stay tuned for the full schedule. Information for rider applicants and tickets for auditors will be available soon at www.cadora.ca and westmandressage.ca.

Trust and respect are two-way streets. We want the horse to accept us as leaders of the herd, to guide them safely and to provide protection and comfort. In return, they will give us their respect, and willing submission to our ideas about what to do next, and when and where. But this respect can only be based on well deserved trust. ~Walter Zettl

I am going to bring in a few different coaches this year, to see how well received they are, and what riders are looking for. I am very open to suggestions of other coaches for 2016, as this is going to be a trial year 🙂 Please get in touch with me to book your lessons!
Eddo Hoekstra will be returning to southwest Manitoba May 21-24 for lessons. Lessons are $175.00 each. Book early to get the day and time you want! This may be the only time Eddo is out this year.
In the works
Rayme McMahon will be out in May to do lessons as well, May 8-10 is the unconfirmed dates, but we are still developing that clinic. Space is limited, lessons to be under $130.00 each. Potentially $115. She has current training in the western dressage area as well, so hoping we can draw in some western dressage riders too! If this first clinic fills and everyone enjoys Rayme, we will look to bring her out before the July dressage show.
We are looking to also bring out Carmie Flaherty in August – I need to know if there is enough interest to book her. Lesson costs should be under $130.00 as well.

We are happy to announce that German dressage trainer and Grand Prix judge, Irene Schweckendieck, will be returning to Winnipeg August 26 to September 2, 2014. As in the past, Irene is willing to travel to stables to teach. Due to the significant time and cost that is involved in travelling, however, we will be using a “Pick Your Price” menu for lessons. The clinic will be centered in the Oakbank area at Pine Ridge Equestrian Park and East Ridge Stables. We hope to bring as many riders together as possible in order that people may participate, audit and talk with Irene. We encourage riders to consider purchasing lessons in blocks of three. For those who are unable, however, single and semiprivate lessons will be offered.
Pick Your Price
Block of 3 private lessons: $450
Individual lessons: $165
Semiprivate lessons: $85 per participant
Added travel cost per lesson (outside PR and ER): $15 per lesson
Stabling can be arranged at Pine Ridge Equestrian Park
Please contact Emma or Natasha Tarvis at: firstname.lastname@example.org, or at: email@example.com for further information or to book a spot.
